Today is a great day. In fact, it is doubly great! I don’t know how often St. Patrick’s day coincides with the start of the NCAA tournament, but talk about an amazing lineup of events! Not only do we kick off one of the most exciting times in sports, but we mix in a fun party day just to add to the revelry! Nicely played.
I have filled out a few brackets, and have a tough time not picking Kansas as the National Champion every time. The Morris brothers are dominant, and I think that they will prove to be a formidable matchup against anyone they face. That said, this could be a very interesting year, as every one of the top seeds have shown moments of weakness throughout the season, losing to teams they should have easily beaten, so this could end up being a very interesting tournament! But then again, when is it not!?
Lately I have just been doing a lot of physical therapy and letting my leg heal. We go in to see Dr. Rapp tomorrow and if they like how everything looks then we might start chemo as early as this Monday, depending on schedule availability. I’m definitely not looking forward to going back on chemo, but at the same time, the sooner I get started, the sooner I finish and get back home! The closer it gets, the happier I get because it means that all of this is finally over! And that is a day to which I am definitely looking forward.
Happy St. Patricks Day and Happy March Madness to everyone!!!
